General Business:

The new Social Sip venue at the Elgin Hotel in Hawthorn only attracted 11 people on October 19th.

It is an ideal venue so we hope to see more in Nov.

Christmas Camp this year will be at Porpunkah, 3 sites have been booked at the Mt. Buffalo

Caravan Park. Contact Ian for details.

Don’t forget the Club BBQ at Fairfield Park on December 16th. The BBQ is "FREE" to financial Club members or $5 for visitors.

Just a reminder that the December meeting on Thursday 7th is a "BYO occasion with members requested to "bring a plate" to share with others.

Discussion took place on why the committee is proposing a reduction in the number of General Meetings. Wayne and Ben spoke on the financial aspects of the change and the consequences of not changing. The arguments are well documented in the November Newsletter. After some discussion from the members in attendance, a general consensus was reached to proceed with the proposed "3 general meetings and 9 social sips a year". Also some discussion on the pros & cons of "emailing" the newsletter to members. This would save on postage costs.

There were some requests from members on a "summer" Club Ride Day. Committee will investigate.

Door Prize: 1st. Paul Tallents, 2nd. Les Leahy, 3rd. Ken Wright.

Close Meeting: 9.15pm.
