At Whittlesea, 10.15 am I notice we are all members so no need for corner-marking spiel. Route explained and we leave. Up through the sweepers. A little damp but a fair pace held by all. (Brad later said normally he would have gone slower but we had traction so he did too!) On through Kinglake West to Flowerdale. Sensational bit of road, surface mainly dry (I think). Wait at Strath Creek turn-off, Rhys arrives followed very shortly by everyone else. Right at Strath Creek to Highway and on through Trawool and the sweeping road with Brad in my mirrors until I rotate my right wrist a little more. The wait at Telegraph Road (Seymour) is not long before Brad, Rhys, Geoff and Lindsay all appear. On to Highlands Road. Fun dirt section seeing rooster tails and a few slides. Tight piece not quite long enough really. Then on to Yea for lunch.

After eating, fueling and chatting we head off to the Molesworth - Alesxandra Rd. Right at the Highway to Buxton to Marysville (toilet stop). Decide to go while tyres are still warm. Excellent run down Black Spur. End ride at Healesville at approximately 1 pm. Very short and sweet ride. Thanks to those who came.

Dave Moore and Darryn Webster came to servo and had a chat. Asked condition of Spur. Dave decided to do lower half (to the first park). I tagged along and had a ball. Everyone else went their own way.
