Also some “fixed” speed cameras would be installed.

Martin Hastie bought along some video footage of recent Club rides, which made fascinating viewing. Martin has a couple of miniature cameras fitted back and front to his Blackbird.

Name Change: Ian outlined the reasons for the proposed change to the Club’s name to the “Motorcycle Sports Touring Club of Victoria”.  Kirsten Anderson then gave her reasons for proposing the change. Debate then followed with Jon Riddett, Rob Mattricianni, Peter P, Les Leahy, Rhys Williams, Danny Vitts, Wayne Nimmo, Ben Warden and Dianne Welsford all speaking for or against the proposed change. A motion was put forward by Danny Vitts & seconded by Bradley Cain that the Club proceed to change its name to “Motorcycle Sports Touring Club of Victoria”. A show of hands carried the motion. Ian then informed the group that although we had agreed on this name, it would still need ratification by the Office of Consumer and Business Affairs.
