Corner Marking System: During the last month it seems our corner marking system experienced a couple of hiccups during a ride! It only seems to happen when we have a large turnout of new riders and I guess it is their lack of understanding that causes the confusion. This system works extremely well but only if the participants follow the guidelines correctly, so perhaps leaders should ensure the newer people fully understand how the system works and if there is some misinterpretation, get another Club member to reinforce and explain it to them! Fortunately the editor published the “Corner marking system explained” in the January newsletter so there should be no confusion on our part!  Ian Payne, President

Darryl Otzen and Mike Sampson both dropped their bikes at low speed on the recent ANZAC Day weekend, both banging their shoulders. We wish them a speedy and full recovery. Both Dicky’s Falco and Mikes VFR800 were rideable, sustaining minor (though expensive) cosmetic damage only.
