September 2002 Who’s News

The MTCV Home Page has taken 300 hits during September and 13,469 since April 1996. The new itinerary is up. And I removed the old photos and put up a couple of more recent ones!

Seen at the September General Meeting: Les leahy, Ian Payne, ben Warden, Pete Weyermayr, Liz Oliver, Rob Langer, Danny Kosinski, Derek Atkinson, Darren Hosking, Ron Johnston, Rhys Williams, Martin Hastie, Carmen, Phill Richards, Mark Easterbrook, Greg Hales, Orlando Iluffi, peter Philferan, Bruce Saville, Jon Riddett, Tim walker.

Email from Pete Weyermayr received Sun 29th September: This is a quick note from France (Aix-en-Provance) to let you know we survived the flights OK. Not sure about this stupid keyboard though - the letters are all in funny places!!!! London was good. Checked out the Tower of London etc and caught up with friends for drinks and dinner. Then we moved on to France - Paris was fantastic - everywhere we looked there was something amazing to see. We spent a couple of days traveling through the Loire Valley visiting all these little old towns. Amazing chateaux and cathedrals everywhere. Like nothing we've ever seen. Just as we were getting used to the French ways we hit Barcelona. Totally different again - a bit of a scary place actually. Scams going on everywhere, pick pockets etc. But lots of fun. The weather has been great too. Better go. See you all in a long time...
