Sunday 6th       Wellington River via Licola                                                              Ron Johnston leading

                        9.30 am Berwick

Note early start on this arduous ride. From Berwick we’ll run parallel to the highway to Longwarry before crossing it and heading for Labertouche, Jindavick and Neerim South. Through the Crossover twisties and left onto the Old Sale Rd to Moe, first break after 110km. Next stop Heyfield for fuel via Tyers before the 54 km of uninterrupted swervery into Licola. After a regroup we’ll ride a further 22 km to Wellington River following the undulating and never straight logging truck road, a fantastic piece of motorcycling road. The return route will be back to Tyers, Willow Grove and Noojee, or optionally a south loop down through Morwell and Mirboo North. Expect a big day out with around 450 km for the day. Note: this ride will not suit inexperienced riders or first time riders with the Club. Good tyres essential.

Sunday 13th     Meredith, Free BBQ lunch                                                                   Geoff Jones leading

10 am West Gate Bridge Shell Service Station

Werribee, Duncans Rd second exit, Pringle Rd, Steiglitz, Meredith (morning tea after 110 km), Durdidiwarah Road, then back down to Anakie, Staughtonvale, Balliang, Bacchus Marsh, Myrniong, Greendale, Blackwood, Trentham, Springhill (depending on time) otherwise Tylden, Woodend, Macedon, Gisborne, lunch 1.30 at daughter’s. This is how it was dictated to me over the phone. Expect around 300 fun km for the day.

Sunday 20th    Mirboo North                                                                                        Rob Langer  leading

                        10 am Berwick

From Berwick we’ll head parallel to the highway from Packenham to Longwarry and Drouin before heading down the Main South Road to Poowong, around to Nyora and back to Loch for morning tea at our regular and favourite café. Then on to Arawata, Dumbalk, Mirboo, Boolara South and Mirboo North for lunch. After lunch we’ll head back to Leongatha and around through Hallston and back to Mirboo North again before picking up the Thorpdale twisties to Trafalgar. If time and energy permit we may head back to Noojee and Poweltown. This is a long ride and not for the inexperienced rider.

Sunday 27th     Hill End via Reefton  Spur                                                                  Nigel Hellyer leading

                        10 am Yarra Glen

Starting outside the Original Café in Yarra Glen we’ll head across to Healesville, Black Spur, Marysville, then down the Reefton and around to Warburton for early lunch. Then out the Powelltown Road to Noojee and on to Hill End. A couple of options present themselves here including back to the highway via Crossover and Jindavick. Or continue south to Trafalgar and deep into Gippsland. All good roads. Come along and celebrate Nigel’s return after a long break after the last cosmetic damage crash. But we cautious as this ride is seriously taxing with so many demanding roads. Expect around 380 km of fun.

                        10 am Berwick

First stop Korumburra after 115 km via Drouin and the Warragul Rd. Then we’ll head south to Tarwin Lower and across to Fish Creek and Foster before cutting across the Highway checking out the Toora windfarm and maybe Agnes Falls before lunching at Yarram. From Yarram we’ll head north to Gormondale and Traralgon meandering amongst the surreal power stations. Plenty of options for return route depending on participants and time. Expect around 500 km for the day. Again this ride is not for the inexperienced rider and will not suit a first time rider. Tyre wear will be accelerated.
