NEW TALENT ON LITERARY STAGE

With the demise of Ern Reeders’ heart wrenching “Travels with my Triumph” (due to his absconding to a foreign brand), Good Vibrations has been at a loss to replace Ern’s compassion with the written word.

When out of he blue comes a new doyen of the diary … a lyricist of the lingo … a primadonna of the proverbial. Julianne Randell has rushed onto the literary stage with the predominantly motorcycle journeys of Bron, Dave, Darryn and her good self in Central and southern Europe.

Good Vibrations connoisseur, Les Leahy, has gathered rave reviews from the Daily Press, and predicts that Julianne will be the next big thing.

“A profoundly important travel diary … Julianne Randell is an extraordinary writer.”    THE AUSTRALIAN

“One of the most entertaining, accomplished and engaging accounts of motorcycle travel in Europe. We always knew Julianne Randell was good, but this is brilliant.”                               THE COURIER MAIL

“When Julianne Randell crosses the Alpine border to Italy, it’s as if no one has previously described the scenes before her.  Such is the power of Julianne’s imagination that everything seems newly created.”                                                                                                                                                                     BULLETIN

“I can’t remember when I have been as excited by a new travel documentary as I was by Julianne Randell’s powerful, compassionate and entertaining writing.”                                                                         THE AGE

“Darryn who …?”                                                                                                      THE POOWONG BUGLE

Who News cont.: I asked Matt from Sportsbike Tyres & Suspension what “exclusive suspension evaluation and adjustment program” you get for $45 as mentioned in WhoNews earlier. Here is his response:

“The suspension evaluation consists of setting sags for bike application and using Race Tech or Ohlins data to get spring rates and valving recommendations. Basically, we set your suspension to suit your weight and your application whether that be road or track, beginner or advanced. Measurements taken are top-out, static sag and rider sag. Pre-load, compression and rebound adjustments are made where possible. Recommendations are then made if necessary to correct spring rate and valving. A detailed print-out of measurements and recommendations is given at the end of the program.”
