Loch   MK II                        Sunday 27th  July 2008

At lunchtime I wandered around and took note of everyone’s tyre make and model, a snapshot in time. Not particularly interesting now but in 5 years time might be quite revealing.

Tyre sizes are all generally 180/55/17 (rear) and 120/70/17 front.  Ronny’s bike has 18 inch rims and his tyres were new with a block pattern in keeping with the “olden” times. I was running a 60 profile front tyre (off Pina’s R6). It makes the bike steer quicker and I really like it. Tim’s 650 was probably running a 160/60 and 120/60 at a guess.
