Sunday 6th      “The Cross”, Mt Macedon                                                                   Geoff Jones leading

10am Whittlesea

Leg 1: Whittlesea, Flowerdale, Strath Creek, Trawool, Tallarook, Glenaroua, Pyalong, Baynton, Lancefield. Leg 2: Lancefield, Pastoria, Kyneton, Spring Hill, Trentham, Trentham East, Ashbourne, Woodend. Fuel/food Leg 3: Woodend, Mt Macedon Cross, Hesket, Kerrie, Bolinda, Clarkefield, Bulla. Expect around 310 km for the day.

 

Sunday 13th    Reefton Spur                                                                                        Peter Jones leading                        10am Yarra Glen

Leg 1: Yarra Glen, Chum Creek, Myers Creek, Healesville, Black Spur, Marysville for morning tea.

Leg 2: Reefton Spur, Warburton lunch, ride finish.      Expect 150 km for the day.    

 

Sunday 20th     Mirboo North                                                                                       Tim Emons leading

10am Berwick

We'll take the back roads through Bayles to Grantville for morning tea, then work our way across to Mirboo North for lunch via Glen Forbes, Bena, and Arawata (3km of good dirt). After lunch we'll head North through the Thorpdale esses, then onward to Neerim South and Neerim East for a break in Neerim Junction. The final leg will take us through Powelltown and close to Yarra Junction where presumably some will head for home, while the remainder continue on to finish in Endeavour Hills via Gembrook. Approximately 430km for the day. Ride will not suit inexperienced riders; not recommended for first time Club riders

Sunday 27th    Phillip Island World Superbikes                                                        Ben Warden leading

John Rousseaux has kindly offered his home as the place to finish the short ride and watch the Phillip Island MotoGP on TV while enjoying a home-cooked BBQ. For catering purposes and address, please call John on 0412-880-537.

The route will include Harkaway, Upper Beaconsfield, Cockatoo, Pakenham Upper, Gembrook and Warburton for coffee after 85 km. If there is enough time we may venture up Mt Donna Buang, otherwise it’s back a similar way to Ferntree Gully and the BBQ. Expect around 140 km for the day.

First stop Loch via the usual back roads to Drouin, Lardner and down the Korumburra Warragul Road to Ranceby and Nyora after 115 km. After a leisurely stop, we’ll proceed south towards Wonthaggi with a diversion through Almurta and Archies Creek. We’ll take the coast road around to Inverloch for a lunch of fish and chips at the tables on the main street. After lunch we’ll head due north up to Kongwak and on to Korumburra, towards Warragul to finish at Drouin. We may continue on to Buln Buln, Crossover  and around through Jindivick to finish at Longwarry North. Expect around 320 km for the day. The ride will be leisurely as this is John’s first lead on challenging roads.
